This was a study model experiment I did to make sure my concept of aluminum foil lined balsa light shafts would work in my final model. The overall result was successful and the shafts worked both by allowing daylight into the rooms below and also allowing simulated lights in the room at night to go back up the shaft and cast a glow on the wall above.
